President of Hunter Multicultural Communities

Born in Waratah NSW, married with 3 sons, Bob’s wife Charity Bell is a nurse formally from the Philippines who trained in Wagga Wagga from 1968 to 1970. They married in August 1970 and currently live in Thornton.

Previously a delegate for Filipino-Australian Society of the Hunter Valley Inc; (FASVHI) to former ECC in 2001, then Assistant Treasurer, elected as Treasurer in about 2004.

Life Member of both Filipino-Australian Society of the Hunter Valley and also Hunter Multicultural Communities.

Board member (Company Secretary) of the Tinonee Gardens The Multicultural Village, Waratah.

Formally a member of the Hunter Commuter Council from 1988 till 2012.

Happy and proud to say he was heavily involved with the Late John Gebhardt in procuring the site at Waratah (former Bowling Club) for the ECC from the small cramped offices at TPI House, Newcastle West.

Interests include Photography, Rugby Union, History of Australian (railways and outback life).
