Coffee you'll escape for!
Escape to the HMC’s Godfather Espresso Café at Waratah for great coffee and a tasty café menu including cakes, pies and light meals.
Through our partnership with Flexible Options disability services, the Godfather Espresso café helps NDIS participants gain hospitality skills.
Set in a peaceful environment, the café is open to the public and is very popular with Mothers’ groups, community groups, local residents and visitors who enjoy the spacious picnic area, sensory children’s playground and renowned Community Garden. There’s also a quiet space for business meetings.

Monday to Friday 8am – 2pm
Saturday 8.30 – 1pm
Catering
The Godfather Espresso team provide an array of sandwich platters and hot and cold finger food for meetings, workshops, conferences and events held on-site at HMC or will deliver and serve for functions
off-site as required.
The training café in Steel River Estate, Mayfield West also provides delicious coffee, morning tea and lunches for local staff and awesome business catering.
Coffee Van Hire
Godfather Espresso Coffee Van is available for hire to attend public events and private functions in the greater Newcastle area
