Nourish Outreach Program Launches New Podcast Series

HMC's Nourish Outreach Program was supported by a City of Newcastle Social Inclusion Grant to help connect frail and isolated CALD seniors with our fresh, culturally appropriate meal delivery service. Through community pop-ups, GP engagement, and a targeted marketing campaign, we reached hundreds of older residents who may not otherwise access this vital service.

As part of the Nourish Outreach Program, HMC produced a special three-part podcast series hosted by Delia Bell, sharing local seniors’ stories of culture, food, and community. The series highlights the importance of nutrition, connection, and support for older people, while also showcasing how each meal—delivered in partnership with NDIS provider Flexible Options - supports employment for people with disabilities.
