Annette is the current CEO of Hunter Multicultural Communities Inc. Following a successful and engaging career internationally, Annette joined the HMC in September 2017. Annette is a highly qualified and accomplished transformational change, strategic management and people professional and after delivering tangible results working in a number of high profile roles across the private and government sectors with companies such as Sodexho International and NSW Department of Justice. She established a successful business consultancy specialising in training, organisational design and development, mediation, management mentoring, policy development and employment law with high profile client’s including the British Royal Family (Duchy of Cornwall) and various private and public clients.

She has had over 20 years experience in CEO, Board, and senior management positions in an international context. Annette has held positions in both public and private sector organisations with annual turnovers of up to £1.1bn (over $2bn) and personal delegated budgets of over £4m (over $8m).

Annette’s industry experience includes: Not for Profit, NGO’s Government Administration, Educational Management, Security, Immigration Removal & Detentions Centres, Justice and Corrections, Trade Unions, Private Estates & the British Royal Family, Architecture, Construction & Hotels, Aviation, Manufacturing & Logistics.

Annette is an amiable individual who demonstrates a pragmatic approach and has a strong affiliation with the culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities of the Newcastle, Hunter and Illawarra regions. She is results driven and capable of effectively and efficiently identifying creative solutions to challenging situations, establishing credibility and rapport and balancing the needs of both the organisation and individual clients.
