HMC’s Multicultural Fiesta 2025 🎉

Join us for a day of culture, community, and connection at the 2025 Multicultural Fiesta, proudly presented by Hunter Multicultural Communities (HMC). With two stages of live entertainment, a global feast of cuisines, and family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

🎶 Live Music & Cultural Performances
Hosted by MC Matt Field, the event will feature an exciting lineup of performers from diverse cultural backgrounds. Kalakuta Republic will headline with their high-energy Afrobeat fusion, alongside Big Jarda, Mala - women in song, Samba Frog, The Singing Circle, and a range of dance groups. Expect an eclectic mix of music, movement, and storytelling, celebrating the region’s rich cultural diversity. (Full lineup to be announced soon!)

🍴 A Taste of the World
Food is at the heart of the Fiesta, and this year it’s part of Newcastle’s Good Food Month. Savor authentic Syrian sweets, African Nigerian cuisine, handmade Ukrainian dumplings, Spanish paella, Turkish delights, Filipino specialties, and more. With a mix of food trucks and local family-run stalls, it’s a true celebration of global flavors.

🎨 Fun for the Whole Family
This is a family-friendly event, with plenty to keep kids entertained. They can jump on the inflatable castle, meet friendly animals at the petting zoo, get creative in art workshops led by the talented Jen Denzin, or have their faces painted with colorful designs.
